Alerting
A rule-based engine that watches your collected metrics and inventory — no Proxmox calls on the hot path — and notifies through an inbox, email and webhooks.
What it does
The capabilities behind this feature — all self-hosted, all in one panel.
Eight rule types
Guest down, node unreachable, sustained CPU/RAM/disk, agent unhealthy, plan traffic and plan expiry — with thresholds, durations, severity, channels and cooldowns.
Most-specific wins
Seeded global defaults plus per-host/node/guest overrides; a per-guest “mute” switch opts a guest out entirely.
Multi-channel delivery
An in-panel inbox with ack/resolve, email via the outbox, and multiple webhook endpoints — generic JSON, Discord rich embeds and Google Chat cards, with a live payload preview.
How to use it
Up and running in a few steps.
-
Tune rules and global settings under Settings → Alerts.
-
Add webhook endpoints (provider auto-detected) and send a test.
-
Triage fired alerts from the Alerts inbox; the bell shows the active count.
