Provisioning & automation
Every lifecycle action runs asynchronously: the panel returns instantly with an optimistic status while a worker runs the real Proxmox call, then a targeted refresh swaps in the live state.
What it does
The capabilities behind this feature, all self-hosted, all in one panel.
Instant, optimistic UI
Create, reinstall, delete and power actions return immediately; the guest shows a provisioning, rebooting or deleting status and never flips to unknown while a job is in flight.
Live provisioning page
A step tracker and a streamed log tail follow each build in real time, then auto-redirect to the guest when it is ready, or show the error and a one-click retry on failure.
On-host agent job queue
A constrained on-host agent handles image downloads, cloud-init snippets and storage provisioning through an auditable job queue, separate from the Proxmox API path.
Same engine as the API
The web wizard and the REST API run through one shared executor, so a guest is provisioned identically whether a person or a script creates it.
How to use it
Up and running in a few steps.
-
Kick off a create, reinstall or power action from the panel or the REST API.
-
Watch the live provisioning page: a step tracker plus a streaming log tail.
-
On success the guest goes live; on failure, see the error and retry in one click.
