A VPS shop on Proxmox: plans, extras and a prepaid balance

The NexoVirt shop lets customers order servers themselves: they pick a plan in the portal, pay from a prepaid balance, and the server is created on a node with room. Renewals, upgrades, extras, suspension when the balance runs out and deletion after the grace period all run automatically.

What it does

Customers order plans and extras from a prepaid balance, renewed automatically.

  • A prepaid balance

Every top-up, purchase, renewal and refund is a booking in the customer's ledger. Top up from your billing system through the API or by hand.

  • Order in the portal

Customers pick a plan you show in the shop. Placement is automatic and the server is theirs the moment it is created.

  • Renewal on its own

Auto-renew pays the next period from the balance. A low balance gets an email, an unpaid server is suspended and resumes once the balance is topped up.

  • Plan upgrades

Customers move to a bigger plan and pay the pro-rata difference. The disk grows and the new limits apply without a reinstall.

  • Extras

Extra IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, disk space and backup slots per server, priced per period and renewed with the plan.

  • Resellers too

A reseller's customers buy only that reseller's plans and extras, within the reseller's quota.
