Why look for a Proxmox SolusVM alternative?
SolusVM is an established, proprietary VPS control panel designed to work across multiple hypervisors. That multi-hypervisor abstraction is useful if you run a mixed fleet, but if your infrastructure is already on Proxmox VE you end up with a layer of indirection that was never designed with Proxmox in mind.
Commercially licensed panels also come with per-instance or per-customer licensing costs that scale with your business. For operators who want to self-host everything and keep full control of their stack, that model is not always the right fit.

NexoVirt does not replace Proxmox VE. It talks to the Proxmox REST API on your behalf, so your hypervisor configuration, storage, networking, live migration and existing guests stay exactly as they are. There is no reimport, no agent on the VM side, and nothing vendor-specific baked into your guests.
A lightweight discovery agent is installed on each Proxmox host over SSH, one step from the panel. It adopts your existing VMs and containers with no reinstall, syncs inventory, collects metrics, applies NAT rules and delivers cloud-init snippets. Uninstalling the agent leaves your Proxmox setup entirely untouched.

An honest note on billing
NexoVirt does not yet ship a billing or invoicing engine. If you need to charge customers today, the recommended path is to use the NexoVirt REST API alongside your existing billing tooling, for example, WHMCS via a custom module. The plans and enforcement engine handles resource allocation and suspension; billing itself is on the roadmap.
We are building in the open and would rather be upfront about what is and is not shipped than overstate where NexoVirt stands today.
