A VirtFusion alternative built on Proxmox VE
NexoVirt runs on the Proxmox nodes you already have and brings its own shop, invoices and provisioning modules. You pay by node count for the whole install, never by VM.
No card needed for the trial.
Two ways to license a VPS panel
VirtFusion licenses each hypervisor and leaves billing to a separate system. NexoVirt licenses the install by node count and has billing built in.

When VirtFusion may suit you better
NexoVirt is not the right pick for every setup. Check these first.
-
You do not want Proxmox
NexoVirt needs Proxmox VE on your nodes. It does not manage plain KVM hosts.
-
Very small hypervisors
With one or a few VMs per hypervisor, a per-hypervisor licence can cost less. The Community Edition is free on 2 nodes.
-
You keep your billing system
NexoVirt has no ready-made WHMCS or Blesta module. They can drive it through the REST API.
-
Stripe and PayPal only
The built-in shop has no other payment gateways and bills in one currency per install.
-
No domain names
NexoVirt does not register or resell domains.
-
No cPanel or DirectAdmin
Web hosting is provisioned on Plesk and HestiaCP only.
Trying NexoVirt next to VirtFusion
NexoVirt runs on Proxmox, so you start with one Proxmox node next to your VirtFusion hypervisors.
-
Set up a Proxmox nodeStep 1
Install Proxmox VE on a free server, or use a node you already run.
-
Install NexoVirtStep 2
One command on a small VM or LXC. Add the node and its storage and bridges are read in.
-
Create plans and templatesStep 3
Cores, RAM, disk and traffic per plan, cloud-init OS templates for Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky, Alma and more.
-
Move customers over timeStep 4
New orders land on NexoVirt. Existing customers move when their server is due for a change.
Want to try it on your own first? The Community Edition is free on 2 nodes, without the shop: Install free.

Is NexoVirt a VirtFusion alternative?
For hosters who run or want to run Proxmox VE, yes. Both are VPS control panels for hosting providers. VirtFusion installs its own stack on each hypervisor for KVM virtual machines; NexoVirt runs on Proxmox VE nodes with KVM VMs and LXC containers and adds its own shop and billing.
How do the prices compare?
On 5 Nov 2026 VirtFusion listed commercial licences per hypervisor per month: $1.50 for 1 server, $10 for 5, $15 for 35 and $18 for unlimited servers, with billing through a separate system. NexoVirt is priced per install by node count: EUR 29 a month for 5 nodes, EUR 79 for 20 nodes with the shop, EUR 149 for unlimited nodes, incl. VAT.
Does NexoVirt run on my VirtFusion hypervisors?
No. NexoVirt needs Proxmox VE on the node. VirtFusion's docs say VirtFusion should be the only application on its hypervisors, so the usual path is a Proxmox node next to them.
Do I need WHMCS or Blesta with NexoVirt?
No. The shop, Stripe and PayPal payments, prepaid balances, VAT invoices, renewals and suspension are built in (Business and Unlimited). If you prefer to keep a billing system, it can drive NexoVirt through the REST API; there is no ready-made module.
Is there a free version of NexoVirt?
Yes. The Community Edition is free and self-hosted on 2 nodes with unlimited VMs, without the shop.
Can I sell more than VPS?
Yes. Service products provision web hosting on Plesk and HestiaCP and game servers on Pterodactyl and Pelican from the same shop.
