What is the Proxmox reseller portal?
A reseller (or partner) portal is a scoped tier above the customer portal. You give a partner a slice of your Proxmox capacity and a portal of their own; they sign up and manage their own end-customers and servers inside the quotas you assign, and they never touch your infrastructure, your admin panel or the Proxmox web UI.
It is the difference between selling servers and building a channel. Partners run their own book of business on your platform, while you keep one place to set limits, watch usage and stay in control of every node.
A channel, not just customers
Everything a partner needs to run their own hosting under your platform, scoped and quota-bound.
Their own sub-customers
Each reseller creates and manages their own end-customers and assigns servers to them, all from a portal scoped to the reseller. One reseller can never see another reseller's customers or guests.
Quotas you control
Set each reseller's limits: how many guests, how much CPU, RAM, disk and traffic they can hand out. Provisioning inside the reseller portal is checked against those quotas, so a partner can grow only as far as you allow.
Usage reporting
Every reseller sees how much of their quota is in use across their customers, and you see the same across every reseller, so capacity planning and partner billing rest on real numbers, not estimates.
White-label branding
The portal, emails and portal domain carry your brand, not ours. Your partners and their customers see your name and logo throughout, so the platform looks like yours end to end.
Reseller-scoped API
Partners automate their own provisioning through a REST API scoped to their tenancy, so they can wire the reseller portal to their own billing or signup flow while staying inside your quotas.
Isolated by design
Every read and action is checked server-side against the reseller's scope before it reaches Proxmox. A reseller and their customers can only ever touch their own guests, never yours and never another partner's.
Three tiers, one platform
You run the platform and every Proxmox node. Resellers sit one level down with their own portal and quotas. End-customers sit below them in the same self-service portal your direct customers use. Each tier sees only its own level and below.
The reseller portal is part of the Unlimited subscription. If you are selling directly rather than through partners, the customer portal and VPS panel cover that; the reseller tier adds the partner layer on top.
