Getting started

Quick start

From a fresh install to your first managed guest in four steps.

  • First login

Open the panel at your server's IP and sign in with the admin credentials printed by the installer. Change the password immediately under Profile, and optionally enable two-factor authentication while you are there.

  • Add a Proxmox host

Go to Hosts and add your first host with its address and Proxmox credentials. The password is encrypted at rest: it is never shown back to the browser or returned in any API response. Use Test to confirm the connection.

See Hosts & onboarding for details.

  • Set up the agent

On the host's row choose Set up agent. NexoVirt connects once over SSH (using a one-time root credential it discards afterwards), installs a small service, and waits for its first heartbeat, all shown live in a progress dialog. The agent is required for provisioning and networking features.

  • Create your first guest

Open Guests and click Create. A step-by-step wizard walks you through placement, resources, OS, network and access. Pick a plan to fill and lock the specs, or go custom, then watch it provision.

See Guests for the full lifecycle.
